XPR Implements Scan to Order at Salty Rim, Margaritaville Resort Orlando

We at XPR POS delightly announce our Mobile Web Food Ordering implementation at Margaritaville Resort, Orlando. The seamless and easy to use solution is implemented at the pool-side restaurant - Salty Rim Bar and Grill, is ready to deliver a more convenient and engaging on-the-go food ordering experience from the mobile.

Margaritaville Resort, owned and operated by Margaritaville Holdings LLC, is a 300-acre resort, shopping center and water park. The resort provides a complete indoor and outdoor retreat experience to the guests. Its pool side grill restaurant, Salty rim delivers a customized food and beverage menu, inviting lounge area, beautiful views and live entertainment all days of the week.

XPR’s implemented solution - an app free mobile platform shall now allow pool-side guests of Salty Rim to access and order from the appealing restaurant menu by scanning QR code. It allows the customer to journey through the menu and order in minimal steps, all while relaxing at the barcalounger. Guests do not have to even download or sign-up before ordering while accessing the menu, ordering and completing the payment digitally.

Users complete the payment through Apple Pay, Google Pay or Credit Cards, or alternatively can add the charge on their room bills - fulfilled through XPR’s integration with Stripe and Opera Micros. The backend integration ensures that the ordered items appear instantly on the Kitchen Display System in the kitchen for the chef to streamline the order preparation. The prepared order is then delivered by the staff to the location entered by guests.

The technology serves as a safe ordering alternative in the troubled times of Covid-19. Guests can safely order the food and complete payment with minimal contact supporting the safety of the community.
